WEB DESIGN AND PRODUCTION ARTIST
SteadyRain is seeking a talented and motivated Web Designer with 1-3 years of experience in the industry. Candidates for this position will need to be well-versed in both designing and building standards-compliant websites and web-related graphical content, be capable of working on multiple projects at once, and be comfortable interacting with clients both internal and external.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years working as a web design and web production professional
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS
- Knowledge and experience with W3 Standards and cross-browser compatibility
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Illustrator)
- Familiarity with designing for the web, as well as some print and identity design
- Experience with preparing graphics for print, manipulating imagery and working with typography
- Comfortable working on PC platform (windows XP and/or 7)
- Detail oriented and focus on quality assurance of work
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Jquery and Javascript
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and/or Quark
- Adobe Flash design and/or Actionscripting experience
- Experience designing for the DotNetNuke CMS
