Duties And Responsibilities

Position Overview:


As a Senior Front-End Developer at SteadyRain, you will be at the forefront of creating exceptional user interfaces and enhancing user experiences. You will work closely with designers and back-end developers to bring our web applications to life. Your expertise in front-end development will be instrumental in crafting visually appealing and responsive web solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end code for web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into interactive user interfaces.
  • Ensure the responsiveness and performance of web applications across various devices and browsers.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality design systems.
  • Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
  • Implement and maintain front-end architecture and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and trends.
  • Be a problem solver, design with empathy.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior front-end developers.
  • Contribute to code reviews and ensure code quality.


Technologies:

  • HTML, CSS, and ECMAScript 6
  • JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular, Node)
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Responsive design principles and mobile-first development
  • Integration with RESTful APIs
  • Webpack or other build tools
  • Cross-browser compatibility testing
  • Front-end testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with concepts like BEM, ITCSS, AtomicCSS, etc…
  • Experience with any additional front-end technologies or tools specific to your projects
  • Bonus: experience with pixel-perfect designs for use on platforms like Wordpress, Contentful, Umbraco and other content management systems

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies mentioned above.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean and maintainable code.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
