STEADYRAIN TAKES FOUR 2008 TAM AWARDS FROM THE BUSINESS MARKETING ASSOCIATION OF ST. LOUIS

ST. LOUIS, September 2008 - For the fifth consecutive year, SteadyRain was recognized by the Business Marketing Association (BMA) of St. Louis at a lavish ceremony at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel on September 16, 2008. The Soulard-based Internet strategy, design and development firm was awarded a prestigious Best in Class, two Silver and one bronze TAM Award for excellence in work ranging from website design and development to multimedia presentations.

The BMA’s TAM (Targeted Advertising & Marketing) Award recognizes the best business-to-business marketing campaigns in the St. Louis region and honors the agencies, companies and individuals who create them.

The Best in Class TAM Award honored the design and development of an easy-to-understand digital presentation about the Build-A-Tour Website. The presentation is a tutorial for the tool that SteadyRain built for them in 2006 which allows potential home buyers to build virtual “tours” a home prior to visiting it. The instructional flash presentation goes step-by-step through the tool and both verbally and visually explains it so as to make it as easy as possible to use for visitors.

“I’m thrilled that we’ve been recognized for this piece of work.”, said Grant Essig, Creative Director for SteadyRain and principle designer of the Build-A-Tour demo, “ We took a different approach to creating a simple web tutorial – thinking about it more like a short movie than just an instructional piece, with custom music and voiceover.”

One of SteadyRain’s Silver TAM Awards for the development and design of the “Emole”, a mascot created specifically for Chamberlain College of Nursing to encourage readership of the Direct Email Program.  Participation in surveys and promotions featuring the Emole has been so successful that it may soon be manufactured and sold as a stuffed toy for Chamberlain. The second Silver TAM Award presented to SteadyRain was in the category “They Didn’t Buy It” for an unused website design.

Finally, a Bronze Award was won in the category of Electronic Direct Marketing for a flash Holiday Greeting Card created for ESP. The card, designed by SteadyRain’s Dustin Keller, featured a figure skater carving a holiday message on a sheet of ice. The award follows an enthusiastic response to the first multimedia card ESP and SteadyRain have produced together, which encourages further expansion of this program.

SteadyRain has been honored by the BMA with TAM Awards a total of eleven times since 2003. The Build-A-Tour Digital Presentation’s Best in Class Award is SteadyRain’s second Best in Class win, with the other coming in 2007 for the design and development of Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Universal Landing Page System and Student Portal.
