ST. LOUIS, September 2006 – For the third straight year, SteadyRain was recognized by the Business Marketing Association (BMA) of St. Louis at a lavish ceremony at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel. In September, the Soulard-based Internet strategy, design and development firm was awarded the prestigious Gold and two Silver TAM Awards for web site design and development.

Accepting the awards for SteadyRain were Mandy O’Connell, Creative Director, and Joe Marcallini, Vice President of Operations.

The BMA’s TAM (Targeted Advertising & Marketing) Award recognizes the best business-to-business marketing campaigns in the St. Louis region and honors the agencies, companies and individuals who create them.

The Gold TAM Award honored the design and development of an easy to understand introduction and overview of Monocle software, a product of Software Plus, a national software licensing sales company. Directed at information technology decision makers, the software provides a method to measure software licensing compliance. The presentation is used in introductory sales meetings and as an element of trade show exhibits. It is especially useful to decision-makers who are new to compliance reporting and evaluation.

SteadyRain won one Silver Award for the development and design of an extranet web site for The Flesh Company, a local commercial document manufacturer. Targeted to Flesh Company distributors and customers, the objective was to streamline communications between the company’s customer service representatives and their clients, provide a resource for distributors to gain new marketing materials, find out new trends and track orders. The company expects a 30-percent decrease in the CSR’s time spent on reorders from existing clients, enabling them to manage their time more efficiently for new business and new orders.

“Through the use of portal technology, The Flesh Company Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) can add even more value to their clients,” said Scott Dougherty, Internet Strategist for SteadyRain. “Clients can log in to see a record of their transactions over time and upload new files for review by their CSR. This tool will make each CSR more efficient and provide additional value to their customers.”

A second Silver Award was won in the category of “They Didn’t Buy It!” for a landing page and an integrated marketing campaign for a local financial instrument firm.

SteadyRain was honored by the BMA in 2005 for the design and development of ZeaVision’s “EyePromise” web site and in 2004 for their work on the Deaconess College of Nursing web site.
