The Missouri Division of Tourism has announced that SteadyRain has been awarded a multi-year contract as the web development service provider for the Division.
The Missouri Division of Tourism utilized a Request for Proposal process to find a partner entity to provide ongoing innovative, yet cost effective, solutions for web-related endeavors. Combined with a proven track record of award-winning web development work and SteadyRain’s dedication to provide collaborative and innovative service, increase efficiency, reduce cost, and streamline communication, SteadyRain was selected as the firm that can best support the Division’s goals.
“We look forward to our ongoing partnership with the Missouri Division of Tourism,” said Thompson Knox, Executive Vice President of SteadyRain. “This selection allows SteadyRain the privilege to blend strategy with innovative web development. We are excited to release a new round of user-engagement features to VisitMO.com within the coming weeks and work with the Division to add more consumer friendly and award-winning features to the site.”
“SteadyRain has proven a valuable partner in our web-development efforts,” adds Katie Steele Danner, Director of the Missouri Division of Tourism. “Robust interactive communication for the traveling public and our tourism industry partners is not just a convenience, it is an expectation. We are confident that this partnership will help us drive demand and keep Missouri as a-top-of-mind leisure vacation destination.”
SteadyRain has worked with the Division to develop the national award-winning site, VisitMO.com. Honored with a 2011 Business Marketing Association (BMA) B2 Award, the site features updated functionality that keeps VisitMO.com users, and potential visitors to Missouri, in mind. This functionality provides users a variety of ways to discover attractions, accommodations, events, outdoor opportunities, and restaurants in all areas of the Show-Me State.
